The Declaration of Interdependence
The Moment
At a moment when the limits of individualism, competition, and unilateral control are becoming unmistakable, this renegade lightning activation convenes thinkers, builders, and practitioners to explore a different premise: cooperation is no longer optional - it is infrastructural. We need a Declaration of Interdependence that treats cooperation not as a moral aspiration, but as critical infrastructure - something that must be intentionally designed, governed, and maintained.
Convenings
This gathering is intentionally timed: 30 years after John Perry Barlow’s Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace, and 250 years after the Declaration of Independence. In a world shaped by those ideas, we ask what the next declaration must be, and whether interdependence can become a shared foundation rather than an emergency response.

This activation draws on the science of interdependence to explore how cooperation, shared risk, and commons-based systems can be deliberately designed and scaled.
